PaaS, the Platform as a Service model, is a model that eliminates the need for infrastructure (physical servers, data storage units, operating systems, etc.) and allows you to manage only on the application management side. This means you do not have to deal with operations such as procuring server resources, capacity increases and maintenance, and you manage the operating systems installed on the servers allocated to you in a data center.
Although it is not yet very widespread, on the IT side, with such investments not being made all at once and the service being received uninterrupted and with high quality, its importance will increase in the coming periods and the use of PaaS will become widespread.
IaaS, the infrastructure service that is the Infrastructure as a Service model, is the most fundamental service of cloud computing. In this model, virtual servers are created and delivered to system administrators, and all other operations are performed by the system administrators to keep the system running.
With IaaS, system administrators who have a flexible structure on the infrastructure side can increase and decrease server resources at any time, regardless of resource status, and manage the structure flexibly.
In the future, as the importance of data centers grows, individual server procurement will no longer be carried out, and even with their quality and redundant network infrastructures, "Serverless Computing" will come to the fore thanks to IaaS or PaaS services.
